Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years IT support experience in the Equities electronic trading environment.
- 2+ years of experience in FIX, client connectivity and on-boarding clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Must be comfortable using standard UNIX utilities to debug, trace, and problem-solve.
- Very strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills.
- Knowledge of FIX messaging protocol and be able to conduct client testing.
- Experience with and understanding of databases.
- VB/Excel/Perl/Bash and/or other scripting experience.
- Understanding of trade and market data feeds.
- Experience working on a trading floor supporting mission critical applications
- Strong educational background with BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related area.
Other Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Java, ability to read code and make modifications is a plus.
