FB Hostess

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Provide information on daily specials, menu items, and promotions.
• Assist with seating arrangements to accommodate guest preferences and restaurant capacity.
• Take reservations over the phone or in person and confirm bookings.
• Monitor dining room for seating availability and maintain a wait list as needed.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Assist in setting up dining areas, including arranging tables and chairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and other Heartist to ensure guest satisfaction and a smooth dining experience.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage items and menus.
