Provide support to the Head of Assurance in managing the Bank's responsive assurance programme, including monitoring and reporting compliance and contingencies, maintaining oversight of key assurance activities undertaken by foreign branches and developing a consolidated view of the Bank's compliance risks, and maintaining all internal/external reporting and escalations to ensure the Bank is adequately protected. Responsibilities
Compliance Guarantee:
Design and implement risk assessment for compliance to ensure inherent risks are adequately identified, controls are assessed and remaining risks are maintained within the bank's capacity
Support the Head of Compliance Assurance in implementing the compliance program covering all areas of the bank to ensure implementation within the stipulated time frame
Manage the bank's compliance monitoring and self-certification programmes, suggest changes/updates where required, challenge business participants, promote corrective action, follow up and report open issues to senior management to ensure probity and meet regulatory requirements
Compile and report on control tests including Key Personnel (KIs) and Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) of compliance controls to ensure the required quality standards are achieved
Manage the compliance department's internal assurance program to enhance RCSA oversight where required and enhance Quality Assurance (QA)/RCSA oversight on a permanent basis in order to keep up with new/modified processes
Support in implementing the behavioral risk framework and associated policies across the bank to maintain a high level of integrity and protect the bank's reputation
Manage Internal Rate of Interest Guarantees (IRSG) and report results to meet regulatory obligations
Providing support in internal and external ISO/UAE Central Bank and regulatory reviews, providing support in audit delivery, tracking engagements, monitoring issues and planning corrective action to ensure issues raised during the audit are addressed and enhanced control based on learnings from the audit.
