Job Title: Estimation Manager
Job Summary

The Estimation Manager is responsible for leading the estimation function for construction and infrastructure projects by managing tender submissions preparing accurate cost estimates reviewing BOQs and ensuring competitive and compliant bids. The role collaborates with Engineering Procurement Commercial and Project teams to deliver successful tender outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial tenders.
  • Review tender documents drawings specifications and BOQs.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates budgets and pricing strategies.
  • Manage quantity take-offs and validate project cost calculations.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
  • Review bid proposals to ensure compliance with client and contractual requirements.
  • Support contract negotiations and project handover to execution teams.
  • Monitor estimating processes and maintain historical cost databases.
  • Mentor and guide the estimation team to ensure high-quality deliverables.



Requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of estimation experience including 5 years in a managerial role within the construction or infrastructure industry.
  • Proven experience in roads bridges rail tunneling or major building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation BOQs tendering procedures FIDIC contracts and value engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel estimating software (Candy CCS CostX PlanSwift or equivalent) and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership analytical negotiation and stakeholder management skills.



Required Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in MEP construction projects. Experience in industrial commercial warehouse infrastructure or large-scale building projects. Strong knowledge of international quality standards inspection procedures and construction specifications. Experience working with consultants clients and subcontractors in the UAE/GCC is preferred.
