Engineer I - Construction (Preservation & Maintenance)

Coordinate assigned preservation and maintenance activities to protect equipment and materials from receipt through installation precommissioning and handover.
Prepare equipment registers and preservation schedules using approved procedures and vendor requirements.
Check storage conditions protective covers desiccants lubrication and environmental protection.
Coordinate routine inspections and approved periodic preservation tasks with technicians and vendors.
Monitor preservation requirements for installed and stored equipment across assigned work areas.
Record inspections and maintenance in preservation check sheets and the project tracking system.
Raise damage reports overdue actions and deviations and follow corrective actions to closure.
Coordinate access permits and isolation requirements before maintenance or preservation work.
Support depreservation and transfer of preservation records to commissioning and operations.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
3 years in industrial construction or equipment maintenance including preservation activities.
Required Skills:
Requirements 6 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies/subcontractors. Electrical Instrumentation or Telecom construction background. Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred. Experience working with diverse international teams. Good knowledge of NEC/NFPA IEEE NEMA and IEC standards. Strong troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills. PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training; ATEX preferred.
