Electrician

1. Electrical Installation & Maintenance

Install, test, and commission electrical systems including power distribution, lighting,

DBs, SMDBs, MDBs, and control panels.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on breakers, switches, cables, conduits,

and electrical equipment.

Install and terminate cables (LV/MV), sockets, switches, isolators, and protection

devices.

Troubleshoot electrical faults, short circuits, tripping issues, and equipment failures.

Ensure proper earthing, bonding, and grounding connections.

Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and voltage/current measurements.

2. MEP System Support

Assist in electrical connections for HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, and mechanical

systems.

Support installation of conduits, trunking, cable trays, and wiring for MEP services.

Coordinate with HVAC technicians for control wiring, thermostats, and BMS interfaces.

Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to complete site tasks

efficiently.

3. Ouality & Compliance

Follow approved electrical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer guidelines.

Conduct self-inspection of completed work before QA/QC verification.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and local regulations.

Report defects, material shortages, or deviations to the supervisor promptly.

4. Tools. Equipment & Safetv

Safely operate electrical tools such as multimeters, megger testers, crimping tools,

drilling machines, and cable pullers.

Maintain tools and testing equipment in proper working condition.

Follow all HSE rules including PPE usage, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work

practices for live circuits.

Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.

5. Documentation & Coordination

Record daily activities, test results, material usage, and maintenance logs when required.

Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and QA/QC inspectors for inspections and

approvals.

Support material identification, tagging, and traceability as per project requirements.
