EI Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical/instrumentation services in relation to the operation, maintenance, refurbishment and augmentation of Seqwater’s mechanical and civil assets across water treatment plants, dams and supply systems,
• Provide technical advice and support,
• Perform routine asset inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with the relevant job plans and record details of maintenance activities into the asset management system.
  

Qualifications

• A current Australian Electrical Licence, with Instrumentation qualifications desirable
• Maintenance and sustaining capital experience, preferably within the utilities or process industry environment
• Ideally have HV Licencing with HV Switching experience, but not essential.
  

Additional Requirements

• Electrical licence is a requirement, with HV and Instrumentation skills and qualifications desirable
• Current tickets desirable, but not essential: Confined Space and Working at Heights, First Aid, LVR & CPR, Breathing Apparatus and Gas Test Atmosphere
• Construction White Card or equivalent.
