Purpose:

  • We are seeking a UX/UI Director to play a vital role in shaping the design strategy and driving the overall user experience and user interface for our customers across various ecommerce platforms including desktop web mobile web and native mobile apps as well as omnichannel project such as in store digital experience
  • The role is highly focused on driving ecommerce efficiency by developing or revamping entirely our UX/UI experience on our ecommerce platforms
  • You will play a critical role in driving innovation setting design standards and ensuring that our brands deliver topnotch user experiences & interfaces that keep our customers engaged and delighted
  • The primary responsibility will be to translate design choices into impactful decisions that enhance our ecommerce shopping journey from navigation to checkout to boost performance across all channels. (session to PDP PDP to add to cart add to cart to checkout and checkout to transaction
  • Plan and conduct discovery and usability research including identifying opportunities writing test plans and scripts analyzing results and effectively communicating findings to influence project decisions. Create and / or follow UI/UX guidelines including colors icons typographic specifications graphic and photographic styles video & motion concepts and other relevant elements to maintain consistent brand representation.
  • Collaborate closely with Tech Product Marketing CRM teams as well as ecommerce trading team and other key stakeholders to identify define and implement design solutions that elevate our customer journey
  • The UX/UI Product Designer will inspire and provide direction for our brands ensuring delivery of bestinclass design and delivery of MarTech strategies

Job Description:

UX/UI Roadmap

  • Create & develop the UI/UI roadmap for GMG sports division online ecommerce platforms
  • Conduct user research usability testing and gather customer feedback to inform design decisions and enhance the overall user experience
  • Develop user personas customer journey maps and other design artifacts to guide the team in creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences

Creative Direction:

  • Oversee the full P&L of the ecommerce brands monitor financial performance and take proactive measures to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Analyze sales data market trends and competitive landscape to identify areas for growth and profitability improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets forecasting revenue and expenses accurately.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Build lead and motivate a highperforming UX/UI team providing clear direction and setting performance expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment encouraging professional development and growth opportunities for team members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations provide feedback and implement training programs to enhance the teams skills and expertise.

CrossFunctional Collaboration:


  • Collaborate closely with the product team to develop effective User experiences that drives conversion
  • Work closely with technology and IT teams to optimize the ecommerce platforms enhance user experience and ensure seamless integration with other system Data

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize analytics tools and platforms to gather insights measure performance and track key metrics such as conversion rates average order value customer lifetime value and customer acquisition cost.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into ecommerce performance identify trends and make datadriven recommendations for improvement.


Person Specific Requirements:


Base Requirement: 5 years in a similar UX/UI role


Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Design or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in designing user interfaces and interactions preferably in consumerfocused tech or product

companies.

  • Strong background in utilizing research and analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Strong presentational skills (Keynote PowerPoint etc.).


JobSpecific Skills:


  • Demonstrated experience in creating flow diagrams wireframes prototypes and visual communication to effectively

convey design concepts.

  • The ability to comprehend complex business problems and establish a design vision for the product in the short

medium and long term.

  • Proficiency in applying best practices for mobile and web design as well as a solid understanding of usability principles

and techniques.

  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams including Product Engineering and Commercial departments.
  • A proven ability to drive the design review cycle and independently fulfill design requirements.
  • Relevant work experience in web and mobile architecture demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of design

considerations in these domains.

  • A portfolio of work showcasing usercentered design solutions and demonstrating depth of experience.
  • Experience conducting user interviews for research and testing purposes with a strong grasp of user research

methodologies.

  • Software knowledge: Adobe Creative Suite Figma Sketch InVision Studio Axure XD etc.
  • Strong technical knowledge (SFCC Magento React and Native mobile OS
