Responsibilities

As the Permanent Director of Sales, you will be responsible for

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing our sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key industry contacts to expand our brand presence.
  • Identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Leveraging CRM systems such as NetSuite, HubSpot, or Salesforce to manage customer relationships and sales processes.
  • Collaborating with other departments to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Managing the sales budget and Profit & Loss statements to ensure profitability.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives using ROI calculations and other financial metrics.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the spirits industry.
  • Proven experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems such as NetSuite, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
  • An existing network of brand contacts in the spirits industry.
  • A strong understanding of finance, including Profit & Loss Statements and ROI calculations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
