The Account Director in Events will be responsible for strategically manage existing accounts and develop new business for the resort from all key markets locally and internationally. Primarily responsible execution of Weddings, Conferences, Exhibitions, Meetings, Social and Public Events enabling the team to reach and exceed the departmental revenue targets. This role is based in Dubai and is customer facing, within Atlantis The Royal
About You
The ideal candidate will have the following requirements for the position:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a 5-star resort/hotel specializing in group and event sales
- Demonstrated ability to maintain relationships with key sources of MICE business
- Ability to create and generate demand for resort/hotel venues
- Proven track record of group / event sales within UAE and International market
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English (multi-lingual is an advantage
