Director of practical education

Creates initial idea packages with a strong design story to guide the design process through project completion.
Conducts programming efforts through space planning studies to arrive at a final approved plan that meets company objectives.
He sculpts interior spaces while considering architecture, interior design, and landscaping as a holistic experience, including furniture, lighting, artwork, and finishes/materials.
Leads daily project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines and manage communication and coordination with internal stakeholders, contractors and consultants.
Expresses conceptual design ideas through 2D and 3D rendering/design drawings and mood boards.
Leads the design management process.
Creates design and analytical presentations for CEOs.
Work with consultants, contractors, manufacturers, spec writers and regulators to achieve overall project objectives.
Participates in construction management of projects - including review of advances, finish samples, and valuable engineering efforts to maintain design intent.
Maintains updated records of employee population at each location.
Project management (coordination of stakeholder needs, coordination with fit-out contractors, BOQ preparation, contract review and supervision/inspection of fit-out projects)
Determine specifications and purchase FF&E supplier (furniture, fixtures and equipment)
Compliance Review – Architectural Transparency, ADA, and Occupational Safety and Health laws and regulations.
Capital and expense planning, review and payment processing.
Communicate with all levels of management, departments, building owners, tenants and owners.
Coordinate routine facilities management services with hard and soft services teams.
