ITP Media Group (ITP) is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East, with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. The company delivers quality up to date content to its readers, viewers, delegates and guests through digital, print, events, awards, video content, social media platforms and social media influencers. These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out, Arabian Business, Harper s Bazaar, GQ, Construction Week, Esquire, GQ and Cond Nast Traveller.
Arabian Business is expanding into Saudi Arabia and aims at reaching the young age group of 18-25 mainly on Snapchat and twitter. The main metric for this job is to produce stories that helps increase our website traffic and get the brand known more and more in society among the young.
The digital reporter is a storyteller responsible for generating creative ideas from Saudi society with a focus on the intersection of business with all sectors including sports, health, entertainment, the environment and tech. The reporter must be able to write his/her stories for online. More importantly, the reporter must be engaging in front of camera and is able to use portable devices such as smartphones, tablets, digital cameras or laptops for gathering, shooting, live broadcasting, editing or sharing news.
Requirements
Technical Competencies
- Fluent in Arabic, written and speaking
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken
- Broadcasting in spoken Saudi
- Broadcasting in classical Arabic for other markets
- MOJO Journalist
- Writing for online
- Editing pictures and photos on smartphones
- High sense for pictures

PERSON REQUIREMENTS
- Impressive time management
- Mid-level experience (minimum 5 years)
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills - must be able to communicate effectively and be able to address challenges when they occur with strong leadership and confidence.
- Capable of identifying and adopting best practices
- Team player who is cooperative with sharing of information and knowledge
- Strong organization and planning skills with a close attention to detail
- Proven track record demonstrating an understanding business operations and business acumen
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree in journalism is not a requirement. We are after skilled journalists and storyteller by nature, who are able to enlist their knowledge and relevant education to produce compelling content. All university degree holders

- Five years in online and MOJO journalism as a reporter and writer.
