ITP Media Group (ITP) is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East, with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. The company delivers quality up to date content to its readers, viewers, delegates and guests through digital, print, events, awards, video content, social media platforms and social media influencers.These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out, Arabian Business, Harper s Bazaar, Construction Week, Esquire and GQ.


ITP Media Group s Hospitality, Entertainment & Design group is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic designer with experience creating events and marketing collateral. This temp position will be based in ITP s Media City office, working on projects including awards, for brands including Time Out, Caterer Middle East, Hotelier Middle East and Commercial Interior Design. You must have a keen eye for beautiful, creative design and demonstrable experience designing branding such as invitations, social media posts and media walls, in addition to digital creative including ad formats. Only applicants with a link to a relevant portfolio of work will be considered.



Requirements

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and executing design work across events and marketing collateral for awards, conferences and activations for brands including Time Out, Hotelier and Caterer Middle East.
  • Responsible for managing individual product workflows alongside brand editors and the events and marketing team, ensuring collateral is designed to brief and completed to deadline.
  • Where relevant, supporting Time Out, Hotelier and Caterer clients with artwork requirements where needed, all in line with individual brand identity and guidelines.
  • Creating original artwork for digital and print adverts.
  • Creating original logo concepts for co-branded projects.
  • Creating original physical event artwork for ITP brands and ITP clients.
  • Work with editorial brand leaders to ensure each brand s standards and guidelines are met for each project.
  • Liaise with editorial, design and photography teams of ITP Media Group to ensure all necessary and correct collateral (brand logos, photoshoots, etc) is available for each project.
  • Have your finger on the pulse of the global design scene, new and emerging trends in digital, social and video formats.

  • Natural eye for great design.
  • Exacting standards and attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem-solve alone.
  • Excited by the challenge of last-minute, ad-hoc projects.
  • Able to work creatively and efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and a professional approach at all times.
  • Education: Must be educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience.
  • Essential skills: fluent in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Desirable skills: experience in Keynote and PowerPoint.
  • Languages: Fluent in English.
