Department Manager

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Review and approval of nonstandard execution methods.
• Innovative ways to deliver to client’s needs and expectations.
• Develop and maintain an overall department budget.
• Provide guidance and oversight on projects while driving KBR’s quality initiatives and standards.
• Establish succession planning and mentorship throughout the group.
• Responsible for all personnel decisions across the team.
• Aid in sales and proposal pursuits including development of work hour estimates required to properly execute a given scope of work.
  

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum ten (10) years of experience, with an average of 15
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
• Knowledge/expertise in engineering execution for a diverse range of project types and phases across the refining, petrochemical, and LNG industries.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including responsibility for budget
• Experience with employee performance appraisals and coaching required
