The Data Analyst is a role dedicated to analyzing data and generating highlevel reports to the Director General.
Data Collection:
Gather data from various sources including field studies databases and reports received from operating company.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Clean organize and analyze collected data to extract meaningful insights.
Use statistical techniques to identify trends patterns and correlations.
Report Generation:
Prepare reports and presentations that communicate research findings and data analysis results.
Translate complex data into accessible and understandable formats.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and researchers to integrate data findings into conservation strategies.
Communicate findings to colleagues stakeholders and the public through reports and presentations.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on the latest research and developments in ornithology ecology and conservation science.
Attend conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
Data Management:
Ensure data integrity security and compliance with data protection regulations.
Maintain organized and accessible data repositories.
Capacity Building:
Provide training and support to staff and volunteers in data collection and analysis techniques.
Foster a culture of datadriven decisionmaking within the Fund.
Minimum required Qualification: Bachelors degree in ecology statistics or a related field; advanced degree is advantageous.
Experience:
Proven experience in data collection and analysis.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g. R SPSS)
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively.
