Job Description

- Clean the Autoclave with sterile water and check the RO unit before starting the Bowie dick test.
- Check the Washer disinfector chamber filter and clean.
- Check the Detergent, Enzyme & Lubricant and mark with date.
- Check and receive used items, which are coming from theatres, wards & clinics
- Make enough disposable items or packs for the day-to-day operations
- Fold linens and make packs for Operation Theatre, Labor Room, IVF and other department.
- Lubricate and remove stains from instruments and set the trays.
- Issue the sterile items on the correct manner from sterile stores.
- Assist and help wherever the workload comes in the department.
- CSSD assistants are always under the supervision of the CSSD Manager’s re advice and help.
- Report on any missing or damaged items in the area assigned.
