Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Claims Manager to join our team at Aon. As the Country Claims Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all claims activities within a specific country or region. You will ensure that claims are handled efficiently effectively and in accordance with Aons policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all claims activities within the assigned country or region
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients insurers and other business partners
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of claims to clients and insurers
Review and approve settlement payments within designated authority levels
Monitor claim reserves to ensure accuracy and adequacy
Conduct regular claim reviews with clients to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Provide guidance and support to claims handlers to ensure quality and timely resolution of claims
Stay updated on local laws and regulations related to claims handling
Collaborate with other departments such as Risk Management and Legal to provide claimsrelated support and advice
Prepare and present claims reports to senior management and clients as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Insurance or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in claims management preferably in a multinational company or insurance brokerage
Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations related to claims handling
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and make sound decisions
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software
Professional certifications in claims management or insurance are a plus
