Job Description

- Manage and coordinate all corporate tax compliance activities, including preparation and review of related tax returns.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax payments.
- Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues unique to the oil and gas industry, such as depletion allowances and specialized deductions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data necessary for tax calculations and reporting.
- Review and analyse financial statements and transactions to identify tax implications and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in oil and gas tax laws and regulations and proactively communicate their impact to relevant stakeholders.
- Lead the ADNOC responses to tax audits and inquiries related to oil and gas operations, working with external auditors and tax authorities.
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team on tax-related matters.
- Ensure accurate and organized documentation of tax-related information.
