Construction Project Manager Estimator

Job Details

• Project Analysis Review architectural plans, engineering drawings, and project specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of the wood framing requirements for each project.
• Material Quantification Accurately calculate the quantity of lumber, plywood, fasteners, and other materials needed for wood framing based on project specifications and take-offs.
• Cost Estimation Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material costs, labor costs, equipment expenses, and any other relevant expenses associated with wood framing.
• Vendor and Supplier Interaction Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materials, and maintain relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Documentation Maintain accurate and organized records of project estimates, including any revisions, notes, and assumptions made during the estimating process.
• Team Collaboration Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide timely and clear communication regarding wood framing estimates, potential cost-saving opportunities, and project-specific requirements.
• Continuous Improvement Stay updated on industry trends, construction methodologies, and material advancements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the wood framing estimation process.
