Commis I – Asian Hot Kitchen

Join our talented culinary team and play a key role in preparing authentic and flavorful Pan-Asian cuisine with a strong focus on hot kitchen operations and wok cooking.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with the daily preparation and cooking of Pan-Asian hot food ensuring consistent quality taste and presentation.
• Handle the wok station confidently preparing stir-fries noodles fried rice sauces and other Asian specialties.
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in preparing dishes according to established recipes portion standards and presentation guidelines.
• Prepare mise en place and ensure the wok and hot kitchen stations are organized and ready for service.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene food safety and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Ensure proper storage labeling and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize food waste.
• Work effectively with the culinary team during high-volume operations and support other kitchen sections when required.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a Pan-Asian hot kitchen or similar role within a hotel restaurant or high-volume hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of Asian cooking techniques ingredients sauces and flavors.
• Experience preparing Asian noodles stir-fries fried rice and other hot dishes.
• Good understanding of food safety hygiene and kitchen standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Positive attitude good teamwork and willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
