The role of the Client Engagement Manager International centers around strategically defining relevant target groups in the assigned countries to source potential Professional Partners for IFZA and ensuring that they are trained and knowledgeable about IFZA offerings. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain solid relationships with Professional Partners, built on transparency and trust. This role requires sourcing and generating new leads and ensuring these efforts are accompanied by Marketing initiatives in order to meet sales targets.
Main responsibilities
- Generating and implementing business development strategies to secure new sales opportunities and professional partnerships in assigned international markets
- Actively developing presence in assigned markets, establishing networks and contacts, ensuring business development, and creating market strategies
- Representing the organization and brand at conferences, events, and podium discussions both domestically and internationally
- Organizing and attending regular meetings with new and existing professional partners and clients
- Traveling internationally to meet new and existing professional partners and clients when applicable
- Building and maintaining strong and long-lasting customer relationships in international segments where required
- Driving and monitoring sales through professional partners to meet sales targets
- Liaising closely with marketing, finance, sales support, and operations to keep clients updated
- Engaging in all CRM activities, staying abreast of its features to utilize and maximize system benefits
- Maintaining a close relationship with commercial entities and political bodies in both the UAE and assigned markets
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or other advanced degree
- Proven experience in sales and client engagement
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- In-depth knowledge of one or more foreign markets
- Experience living or working abroad
- Full English proficiency is required
- Additional spoken languages (German) are a plus
- Intermediate computer literacy is required, e.g., MS Office
- Strong understanding of international markets and trade regulations
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong network of contacts in target market (s)
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
- High social skills and adaptability to thrive in an ever-changing industry
