This is a remote position.

Role: MSSQL/SQL Server Developer - Remote (across India)

Job Type: 4 months Contract (Possible extension based on performance)

Required Skills: 7+ years SQL Server DEVELOPMENT

Working hours: 2:30 PM to 11 PM IST

Working Days: Weekdays (Mon to Fri)

Salary Range/Compensation: INR 1.5 Lacs to 2.25 Lacs/Month.

Immediate Joiners are highly preferred.

Please note this is NOT a DBA role.

Responsibilities:

This role would be part of the Systems Development team and will work to follow standard patterns and best practices.

Analyse needs of downstream systems and end users; develop and support interfaces to fulfil them.

Manage the underlying data and database integrity, performance, availability and access.

Requirements

The right candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic who enjoys working in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Writing SQL Queries for high performance queries.

Deep understanding of SQL Architecture.

They are adaptable and able to multi-task with a creative mind and a desire and ability to problem solve while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

They will be happy working within a small team of technical and business minds yet be able to work alone as needed.

Document and present requirements and design.

Understand Database Architecture, design patterns and best practices.

Understand how to balance database performance and ease of access.

Experience developing SQL server database tables, views, procedures, functions etc.

Experience developing with ETL tools such as SSIS and extracting data from structures like JSON.

Experience in extracting data from on premise and cloud-based systems and databases.

Software development lifecycle and change control while working in an Agile environment.

.

Strong analytical skills to understand system needs presented by others.

Ability to properly document requirements, database design and interfaces.

.

Good presentation skills to all levels, both technical and business.

.

Desire and drive to learn new skills/software and use them to accomplish tasks.

Need to analyse coding, optimize coding/locking, read, and suggest queries, and have high level architecture.
