HerMD is seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to manage and oversee the credentialing and privileging process for our healthcare providers across multiple states!

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced
Implementation and management of credentialing and privileging processes across the organization for all
Ensure that all provider credentials and privileges are current and meet regulatory ;
Ownership and management of provider health plan enrollment process and action
Release information to requesting agencies and public inquiries when required by
Monitor license and credential expiration dates and advise staff members of required renew by
Ensure the facility and staff members are maintaining compliance with regulatory and accrediting
Conduct primary source verification for all provider
Maintain provider files and database
Prepare and submit credentialing and privileging applications to relevant
Respond to inquiries from providers, staff, payers, and other
Assist with the maintenance of a robust compliance
Qualifications
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, particularly as they relate to healthcare provider credentialing and
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage the credentialing process for multiple providers across multiple
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with providers, payers, and other
Attention to detail to ensure all credentialing information is accurate and
Ability to work independently and as part of a
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credentialing
An associate s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is
2+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing and
Certification in healthcare credentialing is desirable, such as Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) from the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS).
