Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Construct install and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials

• Measure cut and shape materials using hand tools and power tools

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and building plans

• Install framing flooring doors windows cabinets and trim

• Build frameworks such as walls stairways and partitions

• Inspect and replace damaged structures or fixtures

• Follow building codes and safety standards

• Maintain tools equipment and a clean work area
