Job Summary:

We are seeking for our client several experienced Butchers to join the supermarket/hypermarket team. The Butcher will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat products for sale to customers. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of various meat cuts as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Cut trim and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer preferences
• Ensure all meat products are presented in an appealing manner in the display case
• Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels for meat products
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering cooking suggestions
• Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Butcher or similar role
• Strong knowledge of different meat cuts and preparation techniques
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Physical endurance to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
• Food handlers certification is a plus

Working Conditions:

• This role requires working in a refrigerated environment
• May involve working on weekends evenings and holidays
