Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives in the facilities management sector.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including new clients, partnerships, and service offerings.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective delivery of services, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and tender responses in collaboration with the proposal and operations teams.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of our facilities management services.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, track progress, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards impacting facilities management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the facilities management or related industry-4 yrs+.
  • Strong understanding of facilities management services and the ability to articulate the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Effective negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
