Position Summary:

A prominent luxury lifestyle magazine is currently seeking a dynamic Business Development & Advertising Sales Manager to drive revenue growth through the strategic sale of magazine ad space. The primary focus is on catering to the magazines target demographic and success in this role hinges on fostering strong relationships. The ideal candidate will adeptly represent the brand offering tailored solutions that align with the unique needs of each client. We seek someone who aligns with the company s vision possesses the tenacity drive ambition and commitment to foster growth and success.


The Business Development & Advertising Sales Manager should possess an established client contact list an extensive network of media sales across the UAE particularly in the luxury sector and the ability to formulate a cohesive sales and account management strategy. This role demands the creation of robust business relationships strong business acumen and a high level of professionalism. The successful candidate will be a selfmotivated experienced ad/media sales professional with exceptional organizational interpersonal and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with prospective and current clients.

  • Serve in an advisory sales capacity to understand and articulate clients needs goals and challenges aligning them with the appropriate products and services.

  • Effectively present to both prospective and current clients whether in person or virtually.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and effective communication.

  • Build and sustain outstanding business relationships to ensure future sales and retention.

  • Represent the company brand in the market with a commitment to excellence robust distribution and networking.

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals established in partnership with the Managing Director.


Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to empathize and connect with clients.

  • Have expertise in prioritizing time management and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in creating and delivering influential presentations tailored to audience needs.

  • Strong relationship management skills with an openness to feedback.

  • A degree in BS/BA or equivalent is ideal but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Ability to network and establish professional relationships with business owners CEOs etc.

  • Experience with Email Marketing/social media is preferred but not required.

  • Energetic enterprising attitude with a professional polished demeanor.

  • Tenacious and solutionfocused particularly in challenging situations.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and practices with excellent followup and organizational skills.

  • Expertise in building strong effective professional relationships.
