Bid Director

• Review EOIs and RFPs from clients, providing valuable insight into client requirements, objectives, and necessary value propositions for successful proposals.
• Prepare and issue RFP tender queries to clients, coordinating effectively to address queries.
• Oversee the preparation and review of EOIs, pre-qualification proposals, and bid submissions.
• Provide guidance on RFPs' scope of services and requirements for subconsultants and specialists.
• Prepare project briefs and scope of services for subconsultants' and specialists' RFPs.
• Issue RFPs to subconsultants and specialists, coordinating responses and addressing queries.
• Conduct cost analysis and summarize subconsultants' and specialists' proposals during the bidding process.
• Prepare, oversee, and review responses to clients' post-tender clarifications and submissions.
• Lead and manage a team of Bid Managers, Coordinators, and other staff members.
• Perform other duties and tasks as required by the Managing Director.

Skills and Experiences:

• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and management skills.
• Strong understanding of consultancy tender and bidding processes.
• Effective communication skills in English (proficiency in Arabic is an advantage).
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and project management software.
• Working knowledge of design, drafting, and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup) is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering preferred; relevant advanced or postgraduate degrees are advantageous.
• +15 years of professional experience in architecture, engineering, and consulting.
• +8 years of significant experience in design consultancy tender and bidding processes.
