BI developer

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data needs, and translate them into technical solutions for data integration, transformation, and reporting.

2. Design and develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it to meet business rules and requirements, and load it into data warehouses or data lakes using ETL tools (e.g. Informatica, Talend, SSIS).

3. Develop and maintain data pipelines, workflows, and automation scripts to simplify data ingestion, processing, and loading tasks, while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and regularity.

4. Perform data analysis, cleansing and verification to ensure data quality and consistency, and identify and resolve impurities, errors and discrepancies in data.

5. Develop and maintain data models, dimension charts, and data warehouses to support reporting and analytics requirements, and optimize data structures for effective query and analysis performance.

6. Design and develop reports, dashboards and visualizations using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) to enable data-driven decision making and provide insights to stakeholders.

7. Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and IT teams to understand reporting requirements, gather feedback, and iterate reporting solutions to meet evolving business needs.

8. Document technical specifications, graphical applications and ETL processes, and provide support and training to end users as needed.

9. Stay up-to-date on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data integration, ETL development, and business intelligence, sharing knowledge and navigating with team members.
