As a database administrator who specializes in Microsoft SQL, you know how to manage and secure database technology. At Booz Allen, you can use those skills to improve the database technology supporting the Department of Defense.

You ll provide your client with peace of mind as you develop and contribute to procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database. You ll use technology and tools to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical database.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
  
• 5+ years of experience in a professional environment
  
• 2+ years of experience as a Database Administrator using Microsoft SQL Server
  
• Knowledge of data management, including permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring
  
• Ability to debug database issues and work with a development team to identify key data stored within the Microsoft SQL Server databases
  
• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology
  
• Ability to obtain IAT II Certification within 30 days of start date
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with AWS and managing Microsoft SQL Server instances on AWS platforms
  
• Experience with writing SQLs to gather information from Microsoft SQL Server databases
  
• Masters degree in Information Technology
  
• MTA Developer Certification
  
• MCSA Database Administration Certification
  
• MCSE Database Management and Analytics Professional Certification
