BENEFITS:
Responsibilities for Assistant Teacher
• Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants/Toddler in his/her care
• Give bottles to infants as provided by parents
• Feed infant/toddler solid foods as age-appropriate and provided by parents
• Change diapers frequently and as needed
• Soothe infants/toddlers by singing to and cuddling them
• Supervise infants/toddlers on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys
• Put infants/ toddlers in cribs for nap time
• Ensure play, sleep, and changing areas are kept clean
• Track development using our developmental checklist and actively work on meeting milestones
• Develop plans and activities that are engaging and support developmental growth
Qualifications Teacher
• Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations
• CPR/First Aid within the first 30 days
• Caring individual who enjoys working with young children
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Extended periods of time sitting on the floor and getting up and down
• Ability to work a shift in between 7:30 am-5:30 pm
• Reliable transportation to the Child Care center
• Great communication skills to communicate effectively with parents and co-workers
• Flexibility due to ratios
