Account Manager - advertising subscriptions

Area: ME CTTN CO RM SW RH SW BR BN (Kent Surrey Sussex & South London)

The Role of Account Manager - Advertising

This is a home / field based role (hybrid role). You will manage your own diary, but this role typically requires 1/2 days on the role and 3/4 days working from home. As Account Manager, you will sell bespoke multi-channel campaigns, email campaigns, memberships and advertising solutions to commercial estate agents. This account management role will see you responsible for 75 customers that you will with call on. The aim is to cultivate and develop existing relationships, supporting customers and increasing revenue spend within these accounts. You will use your sales expertise to use data to uncover needs, demonstrate value to the customer and handle objections in a consultative manor. This role has come about due to promotion, so the incoming Account Manager will benefit from inheriting solid in-place relationships.

The Candidate

  • You must have an genuine track record of success in an Account Management or Key Account Management role (ideally selling services)
  • Minimum of 5 years field sales / account management experience
  • You must be able to demonstrate clear sales process (therefore blue-chip backgrounds are preferred - where you have had recognised sales training.
  • Experience in using data to influence the customer is essential, as is strong negotiation skills.
  • Please ensure your performance vs target figures are on your CV as well as being able to articulate and quantify results.
  • You must be calm under pressure and be a natural relationship building with strong commercial acumen
