A reputable engineering consulting firm is currently seeking a Project Surveyor/Manager for their Columbus, Ohio team!
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects
- Prepare scope, fee estimates, budgets and proposals
- Prepare survey legal descriptions and plats/exhibits (boundary surveys, subdivision or easements)
- Calculate roadway right-of-way/property lines
- Perform ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
- Prepare computations construction layout/subdivisions
- Monitor project budgets/schedules and keep team notified of progress
- Work directly with clients
- Perform field work as needed
- Perform records research of previous surveys (evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence) to help with field surveys
- Perform record research at courthouses
Requirements:
- B.S. or A.S. in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience
- Registered Surveyor (PS) preferred
- Experience with performing ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
- Knowledge of Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation, Microsoft Office
- Experience with RTK GPS, Robotics total station, laser scanner, Trimble Access Data Collectors and Trimble Business Center
