Roles & responsibilities

• Work within a product team to push out changes to 3 e-commerce websites across 2 countries
• Work with the product manager to refine the existing design system into something more scalable and efficient
• Be the voice of the user of the website

Learning outcomes & objectives

• Learn how to set priorities and make design-related decisions in view of the goals of a website
• Gain insights on working with developers
• Learn how conversion rate optimisation is done
• Gain an understanding of how a website fits and works in an e-commerce company
• Exposure to marketing/behavioural analytics tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar
• Refine problem-solving approaches

Requirements

• An empathetic, inquisitive, user-centric mindset
• Independence when it comes to researching and making design decisions when adequately provided with context and goals
• Basic proficiency in Figma
• basic knowledge of how design translates into html/css
• Nice to have: some experience writing short-form copy
• an ability to make methodical, evidence-based and well-reasoned decisions, and articulate them competently
• Attention to detail
