Aquarist Supervisor

olipii, a leading name in Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, is seeking an Aquarist Supervisor to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As the Aquarist Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the care and maintenance of aquatic life in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of aquarists and coordinate daily tasks related to the care of aquatic species

- Develop and implement feeding schedules and dietary plans for various aquatic animals

- Monitor water quality parameters and ensure optimal conditions for marine life

- Conduct regular health checks and provide necessary treatments for sick or injured animals

- Maintain accurate records of animal behavior, growth, and health status

- Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality aquatic species and supplies

- Train staff on proper animal handling techniques and safety protocols

Requirements & Skills:

- 10–15 years of experience in aquatics management and supervision

- Strong knowledge of marine biology, water chemistry, and aquatic habitats

- Proficiency in designing and maintaining complex aquatic systems

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team

- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external vendors

- Physical stamina and flexibility to handle the demands of the role

- Degree in Marine Biology, Zoology, or a related field is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Aquatic Animal Health

- Experience in designing and building aquatic habitats

- Knowledge of local regulations related to aquatic animal welfare
