Air conditioning technician

• Perform regular preventive maintenance schedule for air conditioning/air conditioning units.
• Regular inspection and repair of the air conditioning/conditioning system
• Ensure that all operational and maintenance activities are properly recorded and documented.
• Responding to emergencies and malfunctions.
• Implement work order issued by subordinates with specific standards.
• Ensure that all portable equipment is in correct condition and is used safely.
• Assist in performing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other work when needed.
• Advises Facilities Supervisor/Technologist on major repairs/changes required.
• Monitor performance and adjust air conditioning/HVAC equipment for maximum efficiency.
• Perform fault inspection, diagnosis and repair of faulty operations of air conditioning/air conditioning units such as:
• Air conditioning units
• New and reclaimed air fan units
• Split and packaged type air conditioning units
• Window type air conditioning units
• Centrifugal pumps
• Regularly check the electrical and mechanical integrity and operating components of the above units.
