DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and implement administrative processes and procedures consistent with
overall Institute administrative policy.
2. Accomplish results by defining and communicating administrative staff duties; job
expectations; planning monitoring and appraising job results; coaching and
counseling classified staff and providing continuous feedback monitor performance
and provide continuous feedback.
3. Successfully manage personnel operations; including oversight of personnel
actions such as academic/research faculty hiring faculty promotion and tenure
staff hiring/evaluations/development/training (coordination of all staff performance/expectations) workflow management leave reporting and
records maintenance.
4. Support the Dean in strategic planning and development efforts and preparation
of reports.
5. Supervise administrative staff and coordinate direct support to unit management.
6. Coordinate and supervise arrangements for conferences seminars meetings and
other special events within the college.
7. Work closely with the Financial Manager in coordinating funding/budgetary issues as it relates to new hires and payments.
Education:
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or a related field from a reputable University.
Certified training in the specialization is an added value.
Experience:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar working environment preferably in higher education.
