Job Overview


Nevertiti Star Trading a dynamic and growing Dubai-based company specialising in trading and distribution is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounts and Audit Executive to join our finance team. As a key member of our organisation you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial records ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting our continued growth within the UAE market.


This is a FULLTIME position based in Dubai United Arab Emirates offering an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to thrive in a fast-paced environment committed to quality reliability and strong client relationships.


Responsibilities


Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.

Prepare timely and accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.

Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls risk management and governance processes.

Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared.

Perform regular bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to ensure operational efficiency.

Ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations including the accurate preparation and filing of VAT returns.

Analyse financial data to identify trends create financial forecasts and provide strategic insights to senior management.

Maintain organised accurate and confidential financial records and documentation.


Qualifications


Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline.

Proven experience in a similar accounts and audit role preferably within the trading or distribution industry.

A professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA CPA CA) is highly desirable.

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles IFRS and UAE corporate and tax laws.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Tally) and advanced skills in MS Excel.

Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail.

Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
