Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced and detailoriented MiddleLevel Accountant to join our finance department. As a MiddleLevel Accountant you will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional to contribute to the financial success of our organization within the dynamic setting of a water adventure park.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements variance reports and budget forecasts to provide insights to management.
• Conduct monthly quarterly and annual financial close processes in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement financial policies procedures and controls.
• Assist in preparing for audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff providing guidance and support as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance department.
• Assist in special projects and adhoc financial analysis tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
• Minimum of X years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software applications (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of financial principles accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities with a track record of mentoring and developing staff.
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in financial practices.
