Coordinate the ordering, inventory, storage, and maintenance of supplies, lab ware, and instruments essential to the laboratory operations
• Plan and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the laboratory
• Assist with the development of quality standards and programs
• Monitor and maintain quality of laboratory operations in compliance with accreditation standards, safety and environmental regulations, and other applicable requirements
• Oversee maintenance of test equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and efficient performance
• Maintain record keeping and communications concerning purchase requests and contract submissions, maintain records for internal store, provide monthly summary of department spending and budget tracking.
• Maintain record keeping and maintenance schedule for shared equipment, includes maintenance of inventory records for shared equipment.
• Assist with the coordination and communication between the Director of Laboratories Office and internal and external research stakeholders.
