- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and communications strategy, to keep everyone aware of net zero developments and policy changes, and cascade targets and new ways of working.
- Identify net zero training needs across Technology teams and develop capability uplift plans.
- Work with net zero Programme core team, community manager, OUR CLIENT Learning & Development and/or external vendors to create and deliver required training programmes.
- With the help of working groups, drive engagement programmes to lead a collective mindset shift towards org-wide ambitions.
- Coordinate with all the relevant departments and ensure that all deliverables meet the set expectations and deadlines.
- Drive employee engagement related to sustainability communications and education to ensure colleagues are engaged with the organization’s sustainability efforts and collaborate with different stakeholders to develop training materials and programmes.
- Work closely with their respective Portfolio Manager, the Global CTO PPM Practice team and their senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of their project/Programme with the wider change portfolio and group strategy, values and behavior.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders within IT, Global Businesses, Finance
- Lead end to end execution and responsibility for all aspects of the project/Programme, including definition, planning, execution & implementation, governance & control, financial, resource and change management.
- Ensure the adherence to financial processes and procedures at project/Programme level, as set and communicated by OUR CLIENT Group, regulators, and CTO PPM Practice.
- Own the identification and escalation of any budgetary related risks, issues and opportunities to portfolio/function as appropriate.
- Continually monitor and update Technology Net Zero strategy, objectives and success metrics
- Cultivate an organizational culture that embeds net zero in day to day operations
- Engage with Technology leadership, Sustainability teams and other parts of the bank to identify carbon abatement and adopt best practices
- Influence and input to C-suite level sustainability commitments
- Create, cascade and monitor sustainability target for the Sponsors, IT ExCo and their teams
- Work with programme sponsors and programme managers to discuss sustainability programme objectives and progress, and discuss how other initiatives can adopt a net zero lens
- Help in developing and leading implementation of net zero-related policies and policy changes across the entire Technology function
- Drive delivery of Technology net zero plans with direction of core team of resources
- Manage the technology execution of mergers and acquisitions initiatives, especially Programme managing such initiatives end-to-end
