Synechron is seeking a skilled and dedicated PMO (Project Management Office) professional to lead our project coordination efforts. The key purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth delivery of projects through the development implementation and management of project management processes methodologies and tools. This role is vital in aligning projects with organizational goals managing stakeholder engagement and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the organizations ability to deliver projects on time within scope and within budget thus supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Software Requirements
Required: Microsoft Project Jira MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) SharePoint
Preferred: Power BI MS Project Server VersionOne Confluence
Experience Level: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with a strong understanding of project management tools and platforms
Overall Responsibilities
Lead the PMO function to ensure efficient project delivery across all organizational units
Develop execute and refine project management processes methodologies and standards to optimize project outcomes
Manage project delivery teams ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and project scope
Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to identify potential issues and risks implementing mitigation strategies
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by integrating best practices and lessons learned into project workflows
Ensure compliance with PMO governance quality standards and regulatory requirements
Provide regular project status updates reports and insights to stakeholders and senior management
Drive the adoption of standardized project management tools and techniques organization-wide

Experience Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management roles with at least several years in a PMO lead or senior project coordination position
Proven experience managing large and complex projects ensuring on-time within-budget successful delivery
Demonstrated success in implementing and managing project management processes and frameworks
Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and cultural contexts
Industry experience in finance technology or consulting services is preferred but not mandatory
Day-to-Day Activities
Develop and refine project management processes tools and templates
Lead and coordinate project delivery teams tracking progress and resolving issues
Conduct regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders to review status and risks
Monitor project performance metrics and generate performance reports for leadership
Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices
Escalate project risks and issues promptly providing strategic solutions
Ensure all projects comply with organizational governance and quality standards
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Project Management or related field; Masters degree preferred
Certification such as PMP PMI-ACP or equivalent is highly desirable
Ongoing professional development in project management methodologies and tools
