Project Manager Urbanism + Planning

AECOM are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Urbanism Planning team in this role you will oversee pre-contract activities and operational project management ensuring seamless execution from initial planning through contract finalization and beyond. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver projects on time within budget and in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-contract activities including project scoping feasibility analysis and vendor evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including proposals contracts and operational procedures
• Conduct contract negotiations and reviews to protect organizational interests while maintaining positive vendor relationships
• Identify analyze and mitigate project risks throughout the pre-contract and operational phases
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure clear communication of project expectations
• Monitor project timelines budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery and cost control
• Prepare and present project status reports highlighting key metrics risks and recommendations to senior management
• Manage project documentation systems and maintain organized records for audit and reference purposes
• Facilitate onboarding of new projects and transition from pre-contract to operational phases
• Analyze project performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement process enhancements

Qualifications :

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience with demonstrated expertise in pre-contract management and operations
• Proven experience in contract negotiation procurement and vendor management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions
• Bachelors in either Architecture Landscape or a related subject.
