Job Summary
VAM Systems is currently looking for Project Manager - Payment for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- 6-10 years of proven experience in project management with a preference for PMP certification.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the following UAE Central Bank
payment solutions and cross-border SWIFT payments:
- UAEFTS
- IPI
- NPSS
- WPS
- ICCS
- DDS
- GPSSA
- AAFAQ PAYMENTS SYSTEM (GCCRTGS)
- SWIFT Alliance
- Strong understanding of payment systems financial messaging standards (ISO 20022) and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in implementing payment solutions within the UAE financial sector.
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans define project scope and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal and external
stakeholders including the UAE Central Bank financial institutions and technology partners.
- Risk Management: Identify assess and mitigate project risks proactively to minimize potential disruptions and ensure project success.
- Change Management: Anticipate and manage changes to project scope timeline or resources ensuring that stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance measures to guarantee that project deliverables meet the highest standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and mentor project team members providing guidance and support to drive project success.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular project status reports communicate effectively with stakeholders and escalate issues or concerns as needed.
