Job Description
Overview
Were looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Tech Lead to take over the Statements System a PHP-based web application currently backed by SQLite with planned migration to PostgreSQL and deployment to AWS. This is a foundational role in a startup spun off from a successful fintech company.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the Statements System (front-end back-end and DB).
- Migrate from SQLite to PostgreSQL ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Refactor and maintain PHP-based APIs and web interfaces.
- Deploy and manage the application in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines basic infrastructure-as-code and monitoring.
- Ensure security best practices across stack (web DB cloud).
- Support minor business logic changes in the statement calculation engine.
- Liaise with product and operations teams for ongoing improvements.
