As a Principal Engineer in Wet Utilities within our Infrastructure department you will lead high-profile projects ensure technical excellence and maintain strong client relationships. You will provide strategic direction mentor junior engineers and drive the successful delivery of complex Infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Wet Utilities for various projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong productive client relationships serving as the primary point of contact for major projects.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Prepare and review detailed technical specifications drawings and documentation ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Manage project budgets resources and schedules ensuring optimal utilization and financial performance. Provide regular reports on project status technical performance and team development to senior management.
- Prepare reports calculations and design documentation
- Prepare design using Civil 3D software for BIM environment.
- Managing Infrastructure projects supporting senior engineers and project leaders in delivering successful outcomes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field. Masters degree preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Wet Utilities with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
- Extensive experience in design of Wet Utilities including Potable Water Sewer Storm Irrigation District cooling and Firefighting.
- Working knowledge of relevant software packages like EPANET WaterCAD InfoWorks SewerCAD StormCAD and SWMM.
- Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus & 58; ArcGIS MicroStation MicroDrainage HAMMER.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards codes and regulations.
