Job Description
Job overview:
As a Consultant Dermatologist you will be responsible for providing specialized dermatological services to patients. You will develop and implement treatment plans make clinical judgments and manage a wide range of skin conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in promoting patient satisfaction and delivering high-quality care
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations and physical examinations of patients with skin conditions
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures such as skin biopsies patch testing and allergy testing
- Prescribe and administer topical and oral medications as well as advanced treatments such as chemical peels dermal fillers and laser therapy
- Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide patient education and counseling on skin care and the prevention of skin diseases
- Participate in clinical research and stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with medical standards and guidelines
- Lead and supervise a team of junior doctors nurses and technicians
Qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience as a consultant dermatologist in a reputable hospital
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- A patient-centric approach and passion for delivering exceptional care
- Candidates must have a Western education or training
