Job Description

Location: On-site Abu Dhabi
Type: Full-Time / Shift-Based

Only for male Candidates

Job Purpose

Conducts microbiological analysis of collected food and environmental samples to identify contamination or non-compliance with regulatory limits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and register food and water samples for microbiological testing.
  • Perform testing procedures such as total plate count E. coli Salmonella Listeria and other indicator/pathogen detection.
  • Prepare culture media maintain instruments and perform calibrations.
  • Record validate and report test results in accordance with SOPs and quality standards.
  • Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025 quality system and laboratory biosafety protocols.
  • Participate in proficiency testing and internal audits as required.
  • Participate in client briefings and VVIP food safety risk evaluations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Microbiology Biology or related science.
  • 2-3 years of relevant lab experience in food or water testing.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
  • Knowledge of DOH or ESMA microbiological test standards is an advantage.
