Job Description

SR. DESIGN ENGINEER – Electrical Engg. graduate, fluent in English, aware of IEC, BS, NEC, SHELL DEP, ABS, with minimum 10-12 years’ experience in Oil and Gas brown fields projects.

- Previous experience in brownfield projects.

- Loads adequacy check for the existing loads / electrical systems (UPS, LV SWGR, EDG).

- Review contract scope of work and specifications.

- Prepare project specification documents, Data sheets preparation for EDG, PMS, LV switchgear, UPS, transformers, LV SWGR, DBS, power cables, glands, electrical bulks etc.

- Preparation of load schedules, calculations, adequacy checks, motor controls & review power system studies and relay coordination (ETAP).

- Reporting to Lead engineer, supervising a team of engineers and designers to prepare single line schematics and layouts for power distribution, diagrams, MV and LV systems.

- Cover complete spectrum of activities from preparation of material take offs (MTOS) and equipment/ material requisitions related to above systems till review of the technical and commercial proposals and provide evaluation / recommendations.

- Discussion with client and attending FAT for electrical equipment and resolving concerns raised.
