Job Description
- Design, build, fine tune, and test either optical, electrical, or mechanical systems.
- Integrate systems with control devices and ensure holistic operation of the system.
- Develop technical documentation independently and in collaboration with others.
- Participate in the preparation of technical specifications for the development of functional modules and devices.
- Analyze and develop technical requirements based on project objectives and specifications.
- Participate in certification testing and field testing
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in either optical, electrical, or mechanical system development.
- Knowledge in the use of specialized software for either optical (e.g. Zemax), or electrical (analog/digital or FPGAs), or mechanical systems (e.g. Autodesk Fusion 360).
- Design experience with CAD software.
- Ability to work as part of a project team, with a willingness to take responsibility for deliverables and dive into related areas as required.
- Would be an advantage: Programming skills in Python, or similar language
